This is a microfilmed copy of correspondence, sermons, and essays of Protestant Episcopal Bishop Benjamin Bosworth Smith and a biographical sketch about Smith. The letters, which were written mostly in Smith's later years, are to church leaders concerning church business, theological questions, and some personal matters. The essays discuss temperance, the mission of the church, apostolic succession, and other religious issues.
